Wile the lies bolt express tells keep mounting ever higher, the drivers thy leave broke keep mounting ever so grater. the numbers of hard working Americana they leave in terminable suffering wile there greed riding pockets get bigger its a disgrace to the american way and dream. doing any business with those people at bolt is just selling your sole to the devil him self! its as if your giving up on the american way and telling the world to just lay down an let the Communist basters take over.. there money and wealth is gained by there ability to still from the hard working drivers of America. They line there pockets with greed and filth and try to make up for it with pittance of deeds. but the world sees there greed and they know you all at bolt express are dirty thieves just waiting on your next victim as number of complaints keep coming in about how you people at bolt find new ways of getting around the law and using bait and switch technique to continue you aggressive marketing campaigns and dirty counteracts that are lined with selfish disgracing ways of dirty take overs and way to allow you to still and plunder from the meek of the world as you laugh your way to the top wile taking advantage of other company assets and stilling from all the people that got you there you company will soon reek the Carma you deserve it sad how people in the coming world would even thank of doing business with you if only they new who and what you rely are dirty lying conniving that pray on the week and gain wealth by in slaving your drivers and there trucks to your abuses of contractual power .. if you sign on with this co. sell your sole to the devil first you'll come out better if you sign a load over to this co.bolt express, you mite as well forget being told the truth about your load, they take courses on how to finagle you and feed you a line of crap that your happy to eat.. there goal is to take your money not your load. read the contract you sign with them they own you and don't have to do nothing about your damages thats the bait and switch game they love to play.. now as a fleet owner well sell your trucks now!!! you'll thank me for that.. because the head game hear is if you sign with this company and your in for a big game of cat and mouse tricks.. that in the end will bankrupt you... why do you think the company has such a high employment turn around... in the trucking business.. well because there are fools like you borne every day.. like you and me that are willing for a bite of the wealth and the truth is you will only get enough to keep you coming back, out of pure need and frustration. like a bad drug.. they drag you as far as they can thin right as you start to go under! bam! you sell your sole to them to keep you afloat and now you belong to them and so dose your trucks back i n the old days the Cole mining company's use to do the same thing to there workers sell your sole to the company store and the Cole company's killed there employees one by one with out any recourse to there dollar and they ruined many family's lives leaving them home less... those people at bolt are no different they are the devil selling cheep freight to the driver and higher prises loads to the doc there wealth your misery

I was partner carrier with Bolt. Many of my business associates and friends have been lease O/O's or fleet drivers for Bolt Express.
As a former moderator for Expediters Online I began to recieve many emails regarding the business practices at Bolt Express. I told them that I would investigate their claims and post any information (positive or negative) regarding the company.
After sorting through the emails and speaking with numerous folks who had dealings with Bolt Express and I was quite dismayed with my findings.
1. They advertised that they paid 65% of loaded rate. A closer look at their lease contract indicated it was 65% of 95%. Drivers said they hurried through the contract at orientation with the typical comments such as, "just sign here and here and initial here and you can read through it later on."
2. They told drivers that if they accepted every load and delivered on time for 3 months that they would get a bonus. When the drivers asked for their money, they were told the contract had been admended.
3. Prior to attending orientation one O/O asked if he would be allowed to retain his LLC graphics on his truck doors. He was told that it would not be a problem. After class he went out to view his truck, he was shocked to see that Bolt Express had removed his personal graphics. They never reimbursed him the $250 he paid to have those graphics applied to his truck.
4. Bolt Express has one of the highest turn-over rates in the industry. That should send a signal to anyone considering doing business with them. When the majority of carriers have a freeze on bringing new trucks into their fleets, Bolt Express continues take on new trucks. And it is not because they have more freight than other carriers.
5. Bolt Express exsists because Tri State decided to stop hauling automotive frieght. Considering the current state of the auto industry it is just another reason to forget about doing business with Bolt Express.
6. I know of one cargo van driver that was involved in a fatal accident. I am surprised that the DOT did not investigate the QC information regarding the driving time of this O/O. Although trucks under 10,001 lbs GVWR are not subject to maintaining a logbook reflecting HOS, they are subject to "Reckless Operation" laws. Allowing a cargo van operator to drive for 11+ hours without an 8 hour break is simply dangerous. I know of O/O's who brag about driving 20 hours straight.
7. As for me personally, when I posted the results of my investigation on Expediter's Online, I thought I was doing the right thing in hopes that Bolt Express would investigate these issues and complaints. They responded with a phone call stating that they were cancelling my partner carrier agreement for statements that I made regarding their company. Basically, they have no intentions of addressing the truth surrounding the way they conduct their business after being presented with a plethora of factual information.

But in reality the fleet owner could not higher me an lees bolt express approved first. when I ask to be higher ed. I had to go throw bolt they placed me with my fleet owner and then put me throw there training curses they drug tested me and I could only take the loads they approve who did I really work for fleet or bolt not hard bolt express I did not know I would be interning in to a will pay you if I feel like it deal/job.
That I busted my but to work for only to be lied to come payday you all now the game you play you all are thieves layers and cowering cowered and hide behind loop holes you found in the system you are all scam artist and the fleet owners is only there to be a smoke screen for your company a sick way of doing business you should all be ashamed of your self. you are the worst of the worst. and if you found these loop holes the truth of the mater is you'll fined others to when working with other company's on any matter bad or good your honesty level is foul to say the least.....
and further more the world will continue to read about for years you all at bolt have no morels value or cooth, you cost me my house my truck and you stole from me the faith I have in honest companies along with thousands of dollars in hard working laboring work that I gave to you in hopes to get payed for your a sick cow and pony show i tell evry one do not trust them they stole cheeted over 3000.00 loged miles from me my pay never paying me a dime but i did the work and i did it well and on time and worked my but off just so they can tell me they dont have to pay lol well shame shame shame

I was a driver there as well and i can tell you... i was not payed either! but... Bolt Excuse. :) used the day old line " its not are problem if are driver's don't get payed that ill have to take it up with my owner of my truck" but i say Bolt! it is your problem you hire and employee the owners of those trucks you are just as guilty and after a long and hard court case i got my pay plus back pay. fight hard for your money they will pay big in the end.. There are a lot of nasty co. out there bolt is just one of them. i work for a new co. now but we steal have lots of drivers coming over from that co. they all have the same compliant. that,there drivers where going weeks with out pay and some got none at all shame on you Bolt Express shame. :( if i had my way i would have put them out of business a long time ago they about bankrupted me as well.. and a lots of other driver i know too... )
if you go to bolt for a job don't expect that you will get a pay check every week its a crap shoot and if you do get a weeks pay check it they likely riped you off.... this is good to see someone els that is standing up to the trucking clowns at bolt express and there truck owner hold them accountable and don't back down..... i wished i knew this sight before i got employed there thinks rip off he has a hard fight ahead. wished the news could report those Jerks a lot of others would sheerly come forward...

Richard Anthony Farmer: For a month and a week, working at Bolt Express, I have not gotten paid. Every week excuses were being made to why I wasn't getting paid. I have made fifty plus runs, totaling over four thousand dollars, and have not seen a penny of it. They wanted to take the truck deceitfully and fire me without paying me; by asking me to come to Ohio. They said, They would like to talk to me, thus trying to fire and strand me. They attempted to do this with out paying me. Which would have left no way back, to my home state, to Indiana. After getting home to file charges on them, they try to say they are going to sue; file theft charges on me for taking the truck back home instead of taking it to Toledo, OH. They pulled me from the truck, on their system, while I was in Grand Rapids, MI; after I dropped the load. Have the business practices learned by going to classes given by the devil himself. After I got home, I called the police to file a complaint. I let them know that as of Monday, this being a Friday night, that I was filling a Labor Lean on the truck. Before I could do that, they came and got the truck. They laugh saying, now they're going to prosecute me because they had to come get the truck. Saying that they can do that because they can afford a lawyer and I can't. They also made the statement that maybe before I signed on with them I should have read my contract; they don't have to pay me. They literally said, "You can't afford to prosecute...because we have all your money!" They laughed at me as they took the truck and flipping me the bird; some company. What they did to me, was starve me on the road, keeping me out there, and keeping me running as hard as they could. Then when I had lost my personal truck, my home, and all my money they never paid me. Now I'm homeless, careless, and my bills are through the roof. My credit is maxed out, because I was forced to put fuel in the truck to keep it on the road. The whole time I was told that if I left they would have me arrested for abandonment... woooo!!!!! It scares the heck out of me to know that a company like that can get away with this and yet I'm the bad guy. If any one can help in this matter email me
